Bidar, Oct 4: After facing a series of
sex scandals during its recent rule in Karnataka, the BJP in this south
Indian state has now landed in a fresh nanga-nach row, with a host of
its leaders being caught in camera allegedly forcing women to perform
nude-dance in a b-grade party at a guest house.
The
shocking news has kicked up a new political storm in Karnataka, with
political parties including ruling Congress, attacking the saffronists,
who proclaim themselves to be the harbinger of Hindu culture.
Babu Vali
All
the televisions in the state have been continuously airing the visual
images of a sleaze act, where in Babu Vali, Bidar BJP District unit
General Secretary, DCC Bank former President B S Kudure among others
surrounding a naked woman performing erotic dance.
Political conspiracy
Denying
all the allegations, Mr Vali said that it was an attempt by his
political opponent to tarnish his image. “I was not in the video. It was
morphed,” he said.
BJP is now trying to distance itself from the scandal, saying Baby Vali was removed from the post six month ago.
“He is no more associated with the BJP,” said Raghunath Malkapure, Head of BJP Disciplinary Committee.
